Neil Wise, who attends Calvary Chapel in Olympia, has written a science fiction/fantasy trilogy that is available in the church bookstore. The books are reminiscent of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy, but move at an Indiana Jones pace. The stories spring from a Christian world-view focus on character development and relationships, and emphasize traditional themes and values. If the books were movies, they would probably be rated PG-13 for violence and some sexual content.
Here is a brief teaser to get you started:
Six thousand years ago, the malevolent Lucca nearly destroyed civilization on the world of Kalnaroag. What remains is a scattered collection of feudal city-states, most of their past glory lost in the mists of time. NEWLY PUBLISHED PROGRAM
Each month, the Bookstore is receiving a shipment of newly published books and Bibles. The selections are located on the 'NEW RELEASE' rolling bookshelf.
BROWSE THE BARGAIN CENTER WALL
Items in the Bargain Center are priced with only a slight margin to benefit the Mission Program. This area is constantly updated, so check the bins and shelves regularly. The CDs are priced at deep discounts as we are in the process of phasing them out!
BIBLES
This month the Bookstore is featuring newly released NKJVs Bibles--various sizes and styles. Other versions are still available such as KJV, NIV, NASB, ESV, NrIV, NLT. As usual, our Bibles are all discounted up to 20%.
GREETING CARDS
Choose from wonderfully creative handmade cards OR choose from the spinner rack that is filled with 50-cent cards for most occasions.
When you purchase a Jami Thomas handmade card, the proceeds will directly benefit our Youth Ministry.

Bookstore Hours: 1/2 hour before and after regular services on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Sundays.
