Loving Jesus, Loving His Word, Loving People, as a way of life.

(1) Loving Jesus

Colossians 1:16-18 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

God the Father tells us that Jesus is preeminent, above all things. By exalting Jesus we exalt the Father.

John 14:6, John 1:1-3,14, John 14:9, John 16:23, Eph 1:22, Rev 2:4, John 5:23, Phil 2:9-1

(2) Loving His Word

Psalm 138:2 For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

God has given us His word. He has declared who He is both through Jesus, the Word (John 1:1), and the Bible, His Word. The Word transcends every nation, culture, and generation. It is applicable for all time.

Matt 24:35, 1 Pet 1:24-25, Heb 4:12, Eph 5, John 15, Psalm 119, 2 Tim 3:16-17

(3) Loving people

Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

God desires us to fellowship with each other and for love to be at the heart of that fellowship.

John 13:34, Gal 6, Phil 2, Matt 12:50, Titus 2:14
